Why We Built This Site
Nebraska makes many trial-court records searchable, yet the official route depends on the case. The Clerk of the District Court (Nemaha County) keeps District Court filings, judgments, dockets, costs, and related records. The Nemaha County Court Clerk Magistrate administers County Court matters, including traffic, misdemeanor, probate, small-claims, juvenile, and limited civil cases. Nebraska JUSTICE Court Case Search provides the statewide trial-court search layer, while a Register of Actions provides the chronological case history.
The local county docket page is an index rather than a complete local query system. Court calendars are also separate from the case search. Appeals use the separate SCCALES environment for the Nebraska Court of Appeals and Nebraska Supreme Court. Those distinctions can make it hard to decide whether to start online, at the clerk counter, or with a calendar search. The purpose here is to identify the official channel that fits the record or court date a reader needs.
What You Will Find Here
Each topic is organized around the records or decision a reader is trying to locate:
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are routed between Nemaha District Court and County Court
- Calendar help: how to use the court calendar and distinguish a published setting from a confirmed hearing
- Case lookup details: how a case search uses a party name, case number, court type, and the Nemaha county filter in JUSTICE
- Record access: how court records, certified copies, transcripts, and sealed-record requests reach the proper clerk or court process
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not a Nebraska court, clerk office, or government agency. It cannot perform any task reserved to the office that holds the case. The limits include:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that a court phone number, fee, public entry, or setting remains current at a particular moment
Only the clerk or court that maintains the file can issue an official or certified court record. Nebraska JUSTICE results and a Register of Actions do not replace that official source.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes supplied by outside providers. Those services set their own prices, terms, and result displays. A paid sign-up through one of them may generate a referral fee for this site. That arrangement does not give this site control over the provider’s results, charges, or availability. Official Nemaha court information remains with the appropriate clerk, court, or Nebraska Judicial Branch service.
